I’ve been making/printing my stage outfits since 1978….. Sometimes I would make clothes for other band members. I still make Bernie’s pants today.

Blanket Jackets

Whenever I wore my blanket jacket out, I received compliments. During Covid it became a side hustle. I’d purchase second hand pure wool blankets, after laundering, I’d mark any holes or worn patches to avoid during the pattern placement. This really was a labour of love. It’d take ages to cut each piece and match up. But that beautiful, warm woollen blanket was getting a second go around. Something I believe is worthwhile.

Dye Sublimation

This was a steep learning curve, but immense fun.

I was very pleased with myself when I worked out how to dye sublimate onto 100% cotton fabric. The suits were a lot of fun to wear onstage and I got quite a few requests from my musician friends to make them a suit.
